Here are a few images from my photographic series "FOCUS"

Flyball, a fast-paced canine relay race, isn't just a sport—it's a symphony of movement, a canvas for expression, and an art form in its own right. Each image tells a story of teamwork, dedication, and the unbreakable bond between dogs and their handlers.

Most of these images were shot with my trusty Canon1DX Mkii and and an old, 1st gen 300mm f2.8. I'll also use a Sigma 135mm f1.8. Shooting flyball can be a challenge, often you are indoors, and working with poor lighting. Added to that is the incredible speed that one of these relay races moves at. 4 dogs + 4 handlers + 2 Box Loaders x 2 teams divided by 14 seconds = dynamic compositions!
